Savage Rifts Update: Escalation Really Means Erupted!!
Still with 11 days to go, this kickstarter, run by +Shane Hensley and the rest of the PEG Crew shows no sign of slowing down! The target goal is 300K seems very attainable!

Hi all!
So, being a person who grew up with the Rifts Megaverse and a person who has been requesting (pleading) for all of the Rifts books in PDF for years now, finally after many years PB released the official Ultimate book on PDF. They have been slowly releasing all the worldbooks on DTRG for awhile now. But the latest rule book is here.
Yes, I know that fact that the system is widely dated now, but the content, lore and background is just awesome.
Seems like a good move to release this book around the same time as the Savage Worlds: Rifts Kickstarter. Still, I find the price point high for a PDF, I am sure in time it will be lowered but while the hot kickstarter is running (now at 270K plus), I do not expect it soon!

Some of the Big Kickstarters I am happy to support!
Well, this spring has been a busy spring for me! For what ever reason, the stars aligned and 3 of my favorite genres became available on Kickstarter!
For those that don't know, I love 3 basic settings in roleplaying, Weird War, Sword and Sorcery and Sci- Fi. I am currently running (from popular demand from the google+ community) a Savage Worlds, Beast and Barbarians series called Bloody Sands. Next Episode scheduled for May 21st at 0001 GMT on Google Hangouts.
The Beast and Barbarians games I am running is a warm up for me for when I get the Conan books for later this year.
But till then, lots more to play and do.. I need your help, swing by my Google+ Page and vote on what type of Savage Worlds one shot you guys would like to play.

Something Wicked, This War Comes!! Weird Wars!
Well, today I finally managed to get some time to peruse through the lasted Savage Worlds "Weird War" book. And I really like it! The great weird war is finally upon us.
I love weird war stories, and I love GMing these games too.
But everyone, check it out! How awesome is this!?!
I have had this idea brewing in my note book for about 4 years now! Good times ahead!

Conan: A Quick Start Game
Hi all,
Today, I had the honor and the privilege to get to play the new Conan RPG (Quickstart Rules) with some other fans of the new up and coming kickstarter rpg "Conan"
First of all, I would like to thank +Phil Garrad , who hosted and ran the game, and also invited me to play. Well me and 150+ other people. I was all over it!
Using only the tantalizing details of beginners version of the rules, and some crafty imagination skills, Phil managed to pull off a pretty great adventure for all of us .And I am pretty sure it was the first time for all of us to actually play the game, and we all had our copies of the quick start rules handy. And before to long, we all were hacking and slashing our way to a fun filled evening!
The game itself is very interesting, and the system of momentum vs doom is a great feature as it really helps the game have that 1980s Conan movie cinematic feel. The game is not hard to learn, but it can be a little daunting for a GM to run a game if his players are not willing to know their characters. But the sooner the players start getting into knowing what can be done, the game really shines. I really can not wait to sink my teeth into running this game.
This game is easy and fun to learn and will no doubt lead to hours of entertainment around the table, or on your favorite virtual tabletop. And if you know me, it is Fantasy Grounds.
I look forward to part 2 of this fun adventure!
If you have not yet checked out the kickstarter, check it out now.. and get in on it. still 2 weeks left and it has already shattered their target goal and the stretch goals are already increasing the value of this purchase.

Getting ready for Conan!!
Just in case you, the reader, have been living under a rock for the past few weeks, you should know that there is a new kickstarter in progress which will be releasing a new RPG.
More specifically, Conan!!
So, for fun and to help get myself and my players in the mood I started to work on a Fantasy Grounds 2 theme for it (CoreRPG)
So here is a screen shot of my initial layout. Let me know what you all think of it.
